Mix up the gravy and pour it over top the pork. If freezing uncooked pork chops, place the pork chops inside a freezer-safe Ziploc bag or container.When ready to reheat and eat, you can either warm it up on the stove top or inside a crock pot. Place the pork chops and gravy (you may not need all of it) inside a freezer-safe container or Ziploc bag. If freezing cooked pork chops then let them cool to room temperature.It makes for an easy, dump & go, slow cooker freezer meal for later. I prefer to freeze the uncooked pork chops and gravy mix. You can freeze the uncooked pork chops (as a freezer meal for later) or freeze the already cooked pork chops. Chicken Broth : Make sure you are using the reduced sodium chicken broth (33% less sodium broth) in this recipe.You can also serve them over rice, pasta, or egg noodles. They are heavenly with the creamy potatoes. Serving : I highly suggest that you serve these mushroom pork chops over some mashed potatoes.Cooking time might increase slightly to get them tender. Of course you could always experiment with bone-in or thick-cut and see how you like it. This recipe was specifically designed around using 6-8 regular cut boneless pork chops. Pork Chops : I do not recommend using the thick-cut pork chops or the bone-in pork chops.It may seem like you are cooking the pork to death, but it will be just fine because it’s cooking in a creamy gravy which keeps it moist and flavorful through out the longer cook time.
